Why Our Formula is Different
Our formula contains Lidocaine Base, not Lidocaine HCL (Hydrochloride).
Lidocaine Base is more fat-soluble than the HCL salt form, allowing it to penetrate the upper layers of the skin more effectively. This helps deliver a faster onset of localized numbing where it's needed most.
How It Works
Lidocaine works by temporarily blocking sodium channels in nerve membranes, preventing pain signals from reaching the brain.
Our formulation uses Lidocaine Base, which is highly fat-soluble and can penetrate nerve cell membranes more efficiently, helping provide faster localized numbing. In contrast, Lidocaine HCL is a water-soluble salt form commonly used in injectable medications and certain clinical applications, where it is designed to circulate more readily through tissues or the bloodstream.
